Why a Safety Forum?

It provides a unique way for participants to achieve a better understanding of issues that may affect the successes of each other's safety programs, and an opportunity for high-level networking and learning. It is an opportunity to provide a pooling of resources, information, opinions, talent and experience. The valuable information exchanged, resources shared, build a strong network within, and could save lead-time on your own initiatives.

Meetings are typically held every third Tuesday of the month at Goldy Lewis Community Center - Central Park, 11200 Baseline Road - Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, in the "Creative Corner" Room.

Cal/OSHA Updates

Leap over the regulatory hurdles in 2012! Learn the new and imminent developments in workplace safety and health legislation.

Guest Speaker: Dan Leiner, Area Manager, Cal/OSHA Consultation Services

Dan has been the Area Manager of the San Fernando Valley Consultation office since 2000. He supervises a staff of six field consultants. Prior to being the Area Manager, he was an industrial hygiene consultant for six years with the Santa Fe Springs Cal/OSHA Consultation Services office. In addition to the traditional consultative services provided by Cal/OSHA, he was a project coordinator with Cal/OSHA Consultation's Special Emphasis Program Unit providing outreach to the horticulture, health care, and poultry processing industries. Dan has 16 years of experience as an industrial hygienist, working in the aerospace industry, in a Los Angeles County lead outreach project, and with Cal/OSHA Consultation. Dan holds Bachelors and Master of Science degrees in Environmental and Occupational Health from California State University, Northridge.

"Pathways to Excellence" 2012 Safety & Health Symposium
