Meetings are typically held every third Tuesday of the month at Goldy Lewis Community Center - Central Park, 11200 Baseline Road - Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, in the "Creative Corner" Room. Cal/OSHA UpdatesLeap over the regulatory hurdles in 2012! Learn the new and imminent developments in workplace safety and health legislation. Guest Speaker: Dan Leiner, Area Manager, Cal/OSHA Consultation Services Dan has been the Area Manager of the San Fernando Valley Consultation office since 2000. He supervises a staff of six field consultants. Prior to being the Area Manager, he was an industrial hygiene consultant for six years with the Santa Fe Springs Cal/OSHA Consultation Services office. In addition to the traditional consultative services provided by Cal/OSHA, he was a project coordinator with Cal/OSHA Consultation's Special Emphasis Program Unit providing outreach to the horticulture, health care, and poultry processing industries. Dan has 16 years of experience as an industrial hygienist, working in the aerospace industry, in a Los Angeles County lead outreach project, and with Cal/OSHA Consultation. "Pathways to Excellence" 2012 Safety & Health SymposiumThis symposium will give you the opportunity to attend two inspiring and dynamic keynote presentations, participate in informative break-out sessions addressing various safety topics, and networking opportunities with other health and safety professionals who are looking to make a difference.
